Grammy Camp is a non-residential day camp for high school students
interested in the music industry. If interested, pick up the Grammy Camp
postcard in the counseling office. The deadline to apply is March 31.

Congratulations to the JROTC Bulldog Battalion for their outstanding
performance in this past weekend's Drill Competition in Chattanooga. In Drill
Teams, out IDR Platoon placed 1st out of 24 teams. Color Guard Teams placed 3rd
and 5th out of 44 teams. In the IDR knockout, Duane Galster placed 7th, Dustin
Jones placed 9th, Jack Carpenter placed 10th, and Claudia Gutierrez placed 13th
out of 350 cadets.

Congratulaitons to Smyrna High Football Players: Rodney Shelton, Darrel
Haralson, Ladarious Summers, Kalub Epley, Gary Poindexter, Landon Ramey for
signing national letters of intent to play football at the college level. Best
of luck to these bulldogs and their future football careers.
The Smyrna High Baseball team will be hosting their annual Chili Ball
dinner on Friday, February 7th from 5pm-7pm in the SHS cafeteria. The dinner
will take place prior to the basketball teams hosting Oakland in the final
regular season district home game. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any
baseball player, or at the door.
MUSIC CITY GIRLS LEAD is a Leadership Academy for girls in grades
9-11. Classes are held on Saturdays in Nashville. Applications deadline is this
Friday, Feburary 7th. See Mrs. Brock for additional information.
The Smyrna High Softball team visited the Boy's and Girl's Club last night
as part of the United Way Triple Play Endeavor. The kids greatly enjoyed the
visit, as did the SHS Softball players. Thanks for representing Bulldog Pride
out in the community in such a great way!
YMCA Latino Achievers is hosting a college information night Thursday,
January 30th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Nashville. Admission recruiters will be at
the Latino Achievers office to answer questions and help complete applications.
